When we came to Math Strategies Online, we found so much more than a Math Tutor. When our girls met Tangela, there was an instant connection. Because of this relationship, they gained confidence in taking higher-level math courses. The girls came onto her schedule in high school, when the girls were enrolled in Geometry and Algebra 2 honors in a very competitive IB program.
My girls are very different, but Tangela somehow knew the approach to use in order to ensure their individual success. She has the patience of Job, yet challenges them to be their best.
Since that first course, they have also taken College Algebra, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Both girls are now in college and have received exceptional grades in all of their mathematics courses.
Our only regret is that we no longer get to see her on a weekly basis.

It is a pleasure to reflect on the good you had done for my daughter while tutoring her in person during high school. As I reflect on that now, you did so much more than give her a great foundation in higher level math. At the time, Katie also lacked confidence in herself. You gave her a solid foundation in the subject and helped her to realize her own potential. You helped her gain the confidence needed to succeed. And that wasn't easy at the time. She has grown substantially as a person thanks in large part to your efforts and successfully navigated a college career at a prestigious university and subsequently grad school. She is happily employed and that is all I could have asked for as a father. Thanks Tangela for being so much more than a math tutor for my daughter.
